With MobileMe ending in a couple of days, many of you may be forced to look for an alternative sync option. iCloud seems like an obvious choice, but unfortunately, it is not yet supported by Notebooks.

While iCloud sync already works reasonably well here in our labs, we don’t consider it reliable enough for a public release. We decided to take the time it needs to make iCloud sync effortless and enjoyable for you.

Which options do you have now?

  • If you are looking for maximum flexibility and comfort, you should consider Dropbox sync. Notebooks offers automatic sync with DB, you can access all DB documents directly from your computer or from the Dropbox app, and Notebooks for Mac syncs with Dropbox as well. This currently makes it our recommended service.
  • Of course you can also use a WebDAV service of your choice; either sign up with a service available on the internet, or set up your own server and have full control over your documents.

We will try to have full iCloud support available as soon as possible.
